A 28 yearr old Indian male presented with a childhood burn injury involving his left half of the scalp. The burn scar is large in area, devoid of hair. This posed a great concern to the patient as he was unable comb over to conceal the huge scar. The area measured 65 square cm. Only 1253 FUG could be transplanted to cover the area with approximately 20% density. Transplanting in a scar requires modifications to the standard procedure. The pictures showing the result were taken at 11 months after surgery. Patient was immensely grateful for the result which made a remarkable change in his personal and social life.
