A 26 year old male presented with class IV Androgenetic Alopecia *and wanted*
hair transplant surgery.
On examination the crown area showed mild thinning, for which the patient accepted to opt for 1 mg oral Finasteride.
1 hair grafts = 1134
2 hair grafts = 1690
3 hair grafts = 63
Total no. of FUG = 2887
Total no. of hair follicles = 4703
As evident from the pictures taken at the end of 15 months, the patient expressed content with coverage to the frontal, mid-scalp and the crown areas. He is on oral Finasteride.
Bald class
Norwood class 4
Characterized by further frontal hair loss and enlargement of vertex, but there is still a solid band of hair across the top (mid-scalp) separating front and vertex.
