My Non Surgical Treatments

Tried everything in life from different ayurvedic oils to shampoos & rogaine(minoxidil) but of no use. It's f***ing genes. so nothing can stop it. I particularly hate rogaine. It makes me feel drowsy and numb and as soon as I stop using it I noticed that I am losing more hair than I was before.

The balding areas at the temples join with the balding area at the vertex. The band of hair across the top of the head is gone or sparse.

Confidence loss, looked older, was also a major disadvantage when being matched for an arranged marriage 10 years ago.

I tried finasteride and rogaine. Finasteride works but I stopped using it after a couple of months because of the side effects. rogaine is too itchy. 
 

The surgery was not painful so is the hospital. Everything(cut and transplantation) was done by his assistants and not Pathuri Madhu. Results are awful. Please read my 9th month pics and message. 
 

Go for a HT if you are norwood scale 4 and above. Minoxidil and finasteride won't do any good. 
 

to some extent. Would have been more happier if my surgery is a success. 
 

Pick the right doctor and don't care about the money. Its a one time thing. Believe me.

5 months 15 days For sure I will agree that lot of sprouts came out in the 5th month but I think I am still lagging behind. I shall wait 2-4 weeks before talking about satisfaction with my surgery and surgeon.

5 months 8 days I am seeing good growth in the transplanted area. Hoping that my transplanted hair will get a little bit thicker.

2 months 15 days post surgery I am still waiting to see growth in the recepient area. So no frontal pics for now. Donor scar still looks pretty bad. Little worried about that :(.

1 month post op Hair has been falling out of the recepient area constantly with every hair wash. Still 30-40% left. I am experiencing donor area shock loss which looks pretty bad right now. I hope this will get covered in the next couple of months. There's nothing much I can do if it doesn't except to send my dissatisfaction to the doctor. ,

2 weeks post surgery got the stitches off last week..recipient area numbness is almost gone and donor area is heeling quickly. I see hair in my hands everytime I apply oil or shampoo. I hope this is how it happens as doctor suggested that I will start losing hair for the 3rd week. I plan to trim my hair to match the growing hair this week.

Post surgery The surgery went well. I was told by Dr. Madhu that if I get 2000 he would fill upto certain extent and if I get more he would extend the range. I was given anesthesia and was told to sit in a dental chair. I went to sleep during the process of getting the strip. I didn't feel anything (No pain). somehow I heard few words to turnaround. I did and again went to sleep. I woke up after the whole process was done. I was disappointed in the beginning after looking at the area covered but later on calmed myself because there is nothing much I or the doctor can do. They got around 2000 grafts with which they filled the front 1/3 rd portion.
