We would like to present below a case of a patient at Norwood IV stage. Below you can find the results 12 months after the surgery.
Patient Details: 32 years old patient. The patient was not using any medication prior to the surgery. The crown area was not implanted during the surgery because the patient was recommended to start using Finasteride and Minoxidil. This greatly affected the density increase in the crown area, which allowed us to save a great number of grafts for the future.
Surgical Plan: Hairline reconstruction, density increase in the frontal, fronto-temporal area and mid scalp. The surgery was performed in 1 day and 3019 grafts were implanted. 400 fine single grafts were implanted in the hairline, and the rest in the frontal area and mid scalp.
Hair type: caucasian, light brown and average hair thickness.
0.9mm motorised punch was used for the extraction.
