we would like to present below a case of a patient with a Norwood Va level. You can find below the details of the surgery.
Patient Details
Surgical Plan: Hairline reconstruction, density increase in the frontal, fronto-temporal area, mid scalp and crown. The surgery was performed in two consecutive days with 4 sessions of extraction and implantation .
Patient´s age: 45 years old. Patient was not using medication prior to the surgery.
Hair Thickness: average hair thickness
Hair Type: caucasian, light brown and straight hair.
Number of Grafts Implanted: 4490 grafts were implanted. From which 2033 were implanted in the hairline and frontal area, 1040 grafts in the mid scalp and 1317 in the upper vertex and crown area.
0.85mm manual and 0.8mm micromotor punch were used for the extraction.
