Below are 12 months hair transplant results of our 37 years old patient from the USA.
This is A great example of a case where it is advised to take the conservative approach with hairline design where the area to cover is fairly large. We limit surgery to around 3000 grafts per session so the idea was to distribute the grafts in A way that density won't be sacrificed.
As much as it is tempting to opt for a hairline that is low and straight, in some cases such as this one it is not a good idea. A lower hairline means more valuable donor to be used. Donor that could be more beneficial down the line should the hair loss will progress. Also, it is important to take into account that the hairline should be natural and age appropriate for the long run. A low and straight hairline when one is 60 y/o could not look right and could "Scream" Hair Transplant.
Dr Pareja with the assistance of dr Carranza found the sweet spot between hairline design and density which allowed this satisfying outcome. The patient also wanted to improve some density in the crown which was possible to achieve due less grafts placed in the hairline.
The patient is committed with both Finasteride and minoxidil daily which we believe was a a great boost for the final result.

Pre made incisions: Performed by Dr Paola Pareja , size range 0.8mm for thick 1 hair grafts and 0.9mm 20G for the multiples.
Implantation: Performed both by Dr Paola Pareja and Dr Gina Carranza using Lion Implanter pen size range 0.64mm to 0.9mm
