we would like to present below a case of a patient with a Norwood IIIv. You can find below the details of the surgery.
Patient Details
Surgical Plan: Hairline reconstruction, density increase in the frontal, fronto-temporal area and crown. The surgery was performed in one day with 2 sessions of extraction and implantation
Patient´s age: 38 years old. The patient was using 1mg finasteride and topical minoxidil prior to the surgery and continue with the treatment afterwards
Hair Thickness: 53 microns in the parietal areas and 55 microns in the occipital area.
Hair Type: caucasian, dark and below average thick hair
Number of Grafts Implanted: 2636 grafts, 2436 were implanted in the hairline and frontal and 200 grafts were implanted in the upper vertex and crown area.
0.85mm manual and micromotor punch were used for the extraction.
