we would like to present below a case of a patient with a Norwood III. You can find below the details of the surgery.
Patient Details
Surgical Plan: Hairline reconstruction, density increase in the frontal and fronto-temporal area. The surgery was performed in one day with 2 sessions of extraction and implantation
Patient´s age: 25 years old. The patient was using finasteride since 6 months prior to the surgery.
Hair Thickness: 51 microns in the parietal areas and 57 microns in the occipital area.
Hair Type: caucasian, brown and slightly below the average thick hair
Number of Grafts Implanted: 2404 grafts, all of them were implanted in the hairline and frontal area.
0.8mm manual and micromotor punch were used for the extraction.
