we would like to present below a case of a patient with a Norwood IV. You can find below the details of the surgery.
Patient Details
Surgical Plan: Hairline reconstruction, density increase in the frontal, fronto-temporal area, mid scalp and crown. The surgery was performed in two consecutive days with 4 sessions of extraction and implantation
Patient´s age: 39 years old. The patient was not using medication prior to the surgery.
Hair Thickness: 58 microns in the parietal areas and 60 microns in the occipital area.
Hair Type: caucasian, dark and average thickn hair
Number of Grafts Implanted: 4142 grafts, 2092 were implanted in the hairline and frontal and 2050 grafts were implanted in the mid scalp and crown area.
0.85mm manual and 0.8mm micromotor punch were used for the extraction.
