Hair transplantation procedure before and after result photos with 3863 grafts

Procedure detail

This 28 year old gentleman came to me hopeful that I could rebuild his hairline
and add more density to the frontal 1/3 to 1/2 of his scalp. After establishing
his medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I
diagnosed his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling
out any other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair
loss. The patient’s goal was well suited to his needs and therefore I planned
the surgery accordingly. A total of 3,863 grafts were used. The break down was
as follows: 2,740 single hair grafts, 1,074 two hair grafts, and 49 three hair
grafts. On this procedure I used significantly more single hair follicular units
which allowed me to create a very natural hairline. This action will allow him
to expose his hairline without anyone detecting that he has had anything done.
More grafts were packed into the frontal 1/3 and less packed farther back into
the mid zone. These are his results 10 months post-op with more improvement to
come over the next couple of months.
