This hair restoration patient is a 60 year old male with a class 6 pattern of hair loss. He came in with the expectation of having a conservative hairline with temple recession that he would be able to comb straight back after one hair transplant surgery session. He understood that all the grafting would be done in the frontal half of head and that he would not have the density that he had before losing his hair.We did 1346 single hairs, 1319 2 hair follicular units, and 447 3 hair follicular units for a total of 3,112 grafts and 4,426 hairs.

The balding areas at the temples join with the balding area at the vertex. The band of hair across the top of the head is gone or sparse.
