Procedure detail
This 26 year old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 3 on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuilding his hairline and temple recession. I explained to him that his goals could be met with one hair transplant procedure. When planning the surgery I discussed with the patient the need to reconstruct a hairline that would be suitable for him now, but also considered how he would look as he gets older. A total of 2,527 grafts were used. The break down was as follows: 1,327 single hair grafts, 1,008 two hair grafts and 192 three hair grafts. As I was rebuilding a hairline I used significantly more single hair follicular units to ensure that the final result looked natural. These are his results 10 months after his procedure and there will continue to be more improvement over the next few months. The patient is extremely happy with his results.
