Hair transplant surgery before and after photos

Procedure detail

This patient had 2015 total grafts to recreate/define
the frontal hairline and to add density evenly across the frontal forelock,
posterior frontal forelock, and crown. Pt had decreased density (relative to
normal) in the donor, approx 80 FU's/cm2 (normal = 100 FU's/cm2). Despite this
limited number of grafts available and the large surface area (120 cm2 total),
the result "turned back the clock" so as to recreate a look the patient had
several years ago; thinning, but improved over pre-op condition. Finasteride x 2
years.

Bald class

Bald class 3V

Norwood stage 3 Vertex

In terms of the receding hairline, stage 3 vertex balding is a less drastic version of stage 3.
However, people experiencing stage 3 vertex balding will also begin losing hair on the crown of their head. This often starts as one small bald spot.
