This patient in his late forties presented to Dr. Ron Shapiro with average donor laxity, density and good graft to hair ratio. His goal was to fill in his frontal area and to create a hairline. Hair transplant surgery was performed using 3132 grafts consisting of 6443 hairs to produce the following results at one year postoperative.
Bald class
Norwood class 4
Characterized by further frontal hair loss and enlargement of vertex, but there is still a solid band of hair across the top (mid-scalp) separating front and vertex.
