This patient came to Dr. True for hair restoration in 2002. Faced
with what eventually would be considered a classic and extensive balding
pattern, the patient thankfully heeded Dr. True's recommendation to start a
Propecia regimen. Along with his committment to medical therapy, in 2003 hair
transplantion was performed in the amount of 1200 grafts to reestablish
permanency throughout the frontal hairline/ edge of the forelock. Fortunately
Propecia has been effective in stabilizing the crown region and actually has had
some effect in the bridge/deeper frontal region.
