This patient was a Norwood Class 5 with slightly wavy, medium weight, brown hair. He has a donor density of 2.3 hairs/mm2. He had 1 hair transplant session totaling 2,016 follicular unit grafts. His after photos were taken 18 months following his hair transplant surgery.

Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
