Today marks one year since my hair transplant, and I thought this would be a good time to make my final update and close this thread.

Looking back, this has been one of the best decisions I've made in a long time.

When I first started researching hair transplants, I spent years reading forums like this one. I looked at hundreds of patient journeys, trying to understand what was realistic and what wasn't. That's one of the reasons I wanted to document my own journey as honestly as possible—from Day 0 all the way to today.

The procedure consisted of 3,300 FUE grafts, rebuilding my front and mid-scalp. My crown will be done in a future session, but even without touching the crown, the transformation has been huge.

The first couple of weeks required patience. Sleeping upright, spraying the grafts, washing carefully, dealing with swelling, and then watching the transplanted hairs shed wasn't always easy. Looking back now, it all feels like a very small price to pay.

Over the following months, the hair slowly started coming back. At first it was thin and uneven, exactly like everyone says it will be. Around Month 4 I could clearly see the new hairline taking shape. By Month 8, the density had improved enough that I stopped thinking about my hair every day.

Today, one year later, I have something I haven't had in years—a full, natural-looking hairline.

The biggest change isn't actually the hair itself.
