Procedure detail
FUE performed on a 70 year old Caucasian male with:
- NW VI Class T-P
- Donor density of 64-68 FU/cm2 in the temporal region and 72-78 FU/cm2 in the occipital region
- Hair diameter of ~54-60 µm
Treatment plan:
A Follicular Unit Extraction with 2000-2500 FU to reframe the patient’s face by reconstructing his hairline and frontal third.
Performed procedure (April 10th, 2014):
A Follicular Unit Extraction procedure with 2426 FU:
- 617 single hair FU
- 1809 double and triple hair FU
Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE); Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.75mm – 0.85mm)
