FUT performed on a 25 year old Caucasian male
with:- NW Class IV-V- Donor density of 65 FU/cm²- Hair diameter
of ~75-85 micronsTreatment plan:- 1st Follicular Unit Strip
Transplantation to reconstruct the hair line, mid scalp area up to the crown
area Optional : - 2nd Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation to fill in
the entire crown area and achieve a higher density rate on the mid scalp
area- A medicinal therapy with minoxidil 5% and finasteride 1mg to prevent
further hair loss A second procedure is already planned in April 2009.
Bald class
Norwood class 4
Characterized by further frontal hair loss and enlargement of vertex, but there is still a solid band of hair across the top (mid-scalp) separating front and vertex.
