"I'd like to think that I give patients the time and the space to consider their solutions for their hair loss. I like to think that we're not selling anything to the patient. I'm mearly giving them advice. I encourage them to take time to consider the surgery...don't make a rash decision. I'm particularly proud that I see every patient for consultation, although we do have a patient coordinator who is my liason between me and the patient. After all, I can't take every single phone call or answer every single email. I also find that a lot of times that the patient likes to talk to a layperson. Sometimes they tell him things that they don't tell the doctor. But when it comes to consultation and when it comes to somebody considering surgery, everyone, the recommendation, the medical history, either myself or the other physician who happens to be my wife will see every patient. And also in the post-op review, we like to see everybody because I like to assess the majority of the grafts, what the scar is like at the back. Other strong points, I feel we have clinics that are registered in the UK, we have a system where we have to be licensed by the authorities so it's not just the doctor who's licensed, but the clinic as an establishment is licensed as well. And we're proud that we're very compliant. We're so compliant that the authorities in the last few years have exempted us from coming to inspection because they're quite happy with the way we do things."
