This patient is in his mid-50’s. His donor hair is very fine in quality and he had previously had surgery with a below average outcome.
Due to his hair quality and now more limited donor, we were restricted to a procedure of 2,500 units. These were added to the front and top of the scalp. We are at just over 6 months from the procedure.
Bald class
Norwood stage 5
Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
