Procedure detail
This patient is still only 25 but initially came to us aged 24 as he was losing hair and in his own words beginning to look like his dad.Our first move was to try to stabilise things and he started using Regaine initially and after 6 months added Propecia to the mix.
He returned and felt that things had slowed down in terms of loss but he was desperate to do something surgically.
He understood the issues relating to future loss and really wanted to help reframe his features for now. We agreed to boost the front and review his situation on an annual basis. He had a small procedure of 1700 grafts and for now it has done the trick.
Bald class
Norwood class 3A
The Norwood Class A patterns are characterized by a predominantly front to back progression of hair loss. These patterns lack the connecting bridge across the top of the scalp and generally have more limited hair loss in the crown, even when advanced.
