Has anyone gone to a doctor who uses the NeoGraft machine for extraction and placement? Does it look artificial or does it look real? Thanks for whatever others can share about this.
The thing about NeoGraft is that it's just a tool. Some leading hair transplant surgeons have argued that the mechanisms by which it extracts follicular unit grafts is inherently damaging to them,. Whether or not that is true, at the end of the day, it can only be as good as the person wielding it.
Unfortunately, this particular FUE tool has been heavily marketed to neophytes looking to start a turnkey hair restoration practice.
It seems that in many cases, NeoGraft assisted hair transplants are performed by traveling teams of technicians supervised by a licensed doctor.
While the prices I've seen quoted online are generally much cheaper than the average cost of follicular unit extraction in the US, it is possible to get follicular unit extraction performed by a world class hair transplant surgeon for nearly the same cost. Even more affordable if you're willing to travel abroad.
