My Hair Loss StoryI've been suffering with hair loss for 12 years now. Forced into the "comb over" hairstyle for at least 10 years. Cant stand it! Im fairly young and hanging out with friends that have all the latest hairstyles, just kills me. Had a previous procedure about 3 years ago of about 1300 grafts from a different doctor to help get me through a bit. But with the loss of further hair over 07, 08, and 09, I found myself in the same situation, THIN. Thats when I did some research and decided to have another procedure. Meeting with several doctors, I finally found Dr cooley. He was one of the few doctors out there that could do a major session of 3000 grafts at one time without shaving my head. Other doctors could only do 1300 at a time. And on top of all that, he was priced better than anyone else! Because I had to be back to work in a week, I needed to make sure no one could tell anything happened. With my job, Im constantly in front of people every day. And guess what, no one was able to tell the following week I returned to work. Now its just a waiting game.
How has my hair loss affected me?
Lower self esteem. Less confident in front of clients or people. Cant stand windy days! I hate to be in bright light to where someone can see me bald spots. Terrible.
What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?
Had a previous transplant done about 3 years ago of 1300 grafts. That helped a bit but not enough hair.
Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?
Too early to tell with the latest procedure, but looks like I'm going to get good coverage this time.
What hair loss treatments would I recommend?
Hair transplantation for sure! The only thing that really works. Just make sure you find a great doctor. Dr Cooley is a definate A+
How has hair restoration surgery changed my life?
Waiting...will update when the 3200 grafts come through.
My general advice and suggestions.
Find a good doctor. Make sure you see at least 3-4 doctors before choosing your final choice. Ask a lot of questions, and make sure you do a lot of research online about those doctors. You will be amazed at what you find.
